The philosophy of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Preschool in Milford, Ohio is to provide the parents and children of our community with a loving, nurturing and Christian environment where the children can develop a positive self-image and grow in self-esteem.
Our curriculum is developed to encourage the child to grow intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually. It is also designed to meet the needs of each individual child. Our curriculum is set with the guidance of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
We offer programs for children that are 3, 4, and 5 by Sept. 30th of the current school year. Children must be toilet trained in order to be enrolled.
Speech Therapy is offered by the Milford School District for children who qualify.
All of our Lead Teachers are required to have a college degree. Most have education degrees, two have a Masters of Education and one is a reading specialist.
Seton Preschool follows the Graded Course of Study from the ArchDiocese of Cincinnati for Preschool Writing, Math and Religion. We have two Parent/Teacher Conferences a year, which enables us to discuss the development of your child.
We integrate the preschool and elementary school in ways to encourage community building both with our students and our families. Some areas of integration are:
The PEDAL Program (Preschool Extended Day and Lunch) enables our 4 and up students to turn their half day preschool day into a whole day. PEDAL includes Lunch Bunch and an afternoon of story time, structured play, enrichment activities, and rest time.
