Meet Mrs. Sheila

2-Day Morning and 2-Day Afternoon Lead Teacher

I have lived in Milford, Ohio for 13 years with my husband, Dave.  We have two energetic and crazy boys: Sam, almost 13, and Ben, 11.  We are members of St. Andrew Parish and active in the SASEAS school community as well.  After spending 12 years as a Coordinator of Catholic Youth Ministry, working with Jr. and Sr. High youth, I took time off to spend full time with our boys.  Both of our boys attended Seton Preschool, for a combined total of 5 years, and it was a wonderful, educational and fun experience for both of them.  I love working with children of all ages, and joining the staff of Seton Preschool has been a blessing.  After 2 years as an assistant to Mrs. Krystal,   I am now the Lead Teacher in the Tuesday/Thursday, 4 year old classroom.

Meet Mrs. Andrea

2-Day Morning Assistant Teacher

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in May 1999. I loved working as an Occupational Therapist, primarily in a school setting, for 5 years. I have been married for 18 years to my husband, Jon, and we have been active members of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish since then. Jon is currently serving as a member of the Student Advisory Council(SAC) and the Futures Committee at SASEAS School.  After the arrival of our first child, I was blessed to be able to stay home to raise our children, Noah (17), Hannah (15), Zachary (13), and Andrew (10). All of our children have attended Seton preschool and two are currently still attending our wonderful grade school, Saint Andrew - Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton!

I have been actively involved in both our preschool and grade school community since our oldest first started here in 2007.  I loved teaching and assisting in the growth and development of my own children throughout their early years and have enjoyed carrying over my passion into the preschool setting for the last 5 years!

Meet Mrs. Kate

3-Day Morning Lead Teacher, 3-Day Afternoon Lead Teacher

Hi!  I'm Kate Suddendorf and I live in Milford with my husband Matt and our three daughters: Meredith, Lauren, and Natalie.  Two of my children went through Seton's preschool program, and now I am thrilled to be joining the staff here as an aide and a lead teacher in the 4-year-old program.  I have a Bachelor's degree from Miami University in Music Education and a Master's degree from Xavier University in Multi-age Education.  Before coming to Seton Preschool, I taught general music to students in K-8.  I then decided to stay home with my children while they were young.  My hobbies are volunteering at CTTR Humane Society, playing the piano, quilting, and scuba diving.  Thank you for trusting us with your children!

Meet Mrs. Alison

5-Day Morning Lead Teacher

Hello!  My name is Alison Hantak, and I am the lead teacher in the 4 year old 5 day classroom. I am originally from Kankakee, IL (a small town south of Chicago).  I came to Cincinnati to attend Xavier University.  I graduated from XU in May of 2003 with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  After graduation I hoped to stay in Cincinnati and was blessed to find a job at St. Andrew – St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School.  I taught second grade for fifteen years at SASEAS School.  When the opportunity arose to join the Seton Preschool team I was eager to try something new and be part of this wonderful program!  While working at SASEAS I returned to XU and earned a Master’s Degree in Reading Education along with a K-12 Ohio Reading Endorsement.  As an undergrad  at Xavier I met my husband, Neil.  We have three energetic boys: 13 year-old Keegan, 10 year-old Griffin, and Riley who will be turned 6 in October.  Keegan will be a eighth grader at SASEAS this year, and Griffin will be a fifth grader.  Keegan and Griffin both attended Seton Preschool.  They had wonderful experiences and were well prepared for Kindergarten.  Riley is in Kindergarten this year.  I love spending time with my family, and they keep me very busy!  I feel very blessed to be working with your children, and I look forward to creating an environment where their curiosity and love of learning is nurtured!

Meet Mrs. Renata

5-Day Morning Assistant Teacher

Hello! My name is Renata Fuhrman. I am originally from the Czech Republic and have been in the United States over 20 years. June 2018 was a very exciting time for me and my family as I became an American Citizen. My husband, Chris (who grew up in the area), our son Ryan, and I live in Milford. Ryan really enjoyed his 2 years in Seton's preschool classes and our family loved the many creative ways his teachers made learning so much fun. Our family is very excited that Ryan will continue his education this coming year in SEAS' Second Grade. In the years before joining the staff at Seton, it was my job to be a stay-at-home mom. When Ryan was ready to enter school, the opportunity to be part of this parish and awesome school opened for me. My roles have been as a teacher's assistant in classes for both 3 & 4 year olds, as well as working with the Lunch Bunch kids and the afternoon PEDAL program. I love children, and seeing them smile makes me happy and is priceless. I can't wait to meet your little ones and am super excited to learn, play, and explore with them!
