I grew up in Mariemont and graduated with a degree in elementary education from Hanover College. After teaching 2nd grade for 5 years, I made the choice to leave teaching when my first child was born. It was during this time that I really dove into learning much more about early childhood education as it was important for me and my family to set our kids up for success right from the very beginning. Once my kids were old enough to be in school full time, I was ready to go back to teaching. I love coming to work every day where we strive to provide a great environment for kids to have lots of fun and be successful. As the mother of three, I love nothing more than watching my children learn new things and to experience life. I bring that same enthusiasm to the classroom and am so thankful to have the opportunity to be part of these precious children's lives. Not only are the children amazing, but the staff is also the greatest to work alongside. It really is the best job in the world!
Hi, my name is Jenny Houston and I love being a part of Seton’s Preschool Program as the teaching aide in the Pre-K Program. I was born and raised in Milford and attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in my younger years.
I have a BA in Graphic Design from Mount St. Joseph University and worked in the Marketing industry for sixteen plus years as a Graphic Designer/Production Artist. I then became fortunate enough to become a stay at home mom and become an active part of in the daily lives my two children, Trey (20) and Kennedy (18). Being a stay at home mom not only gave me the ability to be a part of their elementary school years, it also blessed me by giving me the opportunity to be a part of many children’s programs. I taught Sunday School at our church and assisted in the children’s programs, as well as, childcare for the teachers for the Bible Study I attend. I love working with kids and look forward to helping your children learn, grow and have fun.
In my spare time I like to ride our motorcycle with my husband Tim and anything craft oriented (I am addicted to Pinterest and a frequent shopper at Hobby Lobby). Most of my time is spent in the volleyball stands cheering on our daughter, Kennedy, who plays volleyball year-round and being the Team Mom for her club team. We have a dog named Sydney and two cats, Oreo and Katty, which keep us entertained daily.
