I am very excited to accept the position of the Tuesday/Thursday, three-year old teacher at St. Elizabeth-Ann Seton preschool. I have taught preschool in two different Catholic schools over the past five years, growing as an educator every day from these experiences. Most recently, I taught the pre-kindergarten class at St. Lawrence in East Price Hill.
I am expecting my first child in October, and have been searching for a position closer to my home. When I saw an opening for a preschool teacher at a local Catholic school, my excitement was immeasurable! I believe my passion, dedication, and creativity to the littlest learners will be an asset to St. Elizabeth-Ann Seton’s preschool program.
I’m very excited and honored to be a part of this group of loving, caring individuals who teach your preschoolers! As the three year old class Assistant Teacher, I will do my best to nurture, care for and have fun with your three year olds, such a curious, energetic and lively age.
I grew-up in St. Louis, MO and attended Duke University, graduating with a double major in Chemistry and Economics. Though I love all things science and numbers, I relish any activity involving “arts & crafts” and getting my hands dirty. After three years as a chemical sales representative and back to Duke for a MBA, I spent almost 10 years at P&G in Cincinnati before ‘retiring’ to stay at home with my children. My husband, Ken, and I have four daughters: Mackenzie, a Centre College graduate considering a law degree, Addie, a sophomore at Ursuline Academy and two 8th graders, Vivien and Dana, all three of whom attend(ed) SASEAS and are alum of SEAS Preschool. My family and I have been parishioners of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish for 15 years while living in Loveland. When not assisting in the three year old preschool classroom, you can find me volunteering at the School and trying to keep-up with our daughters. I also love reading, sports of all sorts especially golf, the outdoors, gardening and camping.
This is my first year teaching as St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Preschool. I am so thrilled to be here and teaching at a school that I love and believe in.
I received my teaching degree from Miami University and taught preschool in daycare type settings. When my oldest daughter was born, I decided to stay home and raise her until she was in school. Now that all 3 of my children are in school, I was ready to get back to teaching and doing what I love to do. We have been living in Milford for 6 years and we have fallen in love with this community and this amazing school.
