This is my third year teaching at Seton preschool and my 8th year teaching. After graduating from Ohio University with my bachelors in Early Childhood, I taught at a Catholic school in Dayton. My husband and I moved to Milford in 2017 and I was fortunate to find a teaching position at St. Elizabeth-Ann Seton. I am currently taking courses through the University of Dayton to earn my Masters in Education. I love teaching preschool through hands on, play based, exploratory learning! I believe my passion, dedication, and creativity to the littlest learners are an asset to St. Elizabeth-Ann Seton’s preschool program. My husband and I have a 2 year old daughter and are expecting a baby in April of 2022.
I’m very excited and honored to be a part of this group of loving, caring individuals who teach your preschoolers! As a three-year-old class Assistant Teacher, I will do my best to nurture, care for and have fun with your three year olds, such a curious, energetic and lively age.
I grew-up in St. Louis, MO and attended Duke University, graduating with a double major in Chemistry and Economics. Though I love all things science and numbers, I relish any activity involving “arts & crafts” and getting my hands dirty. After three years as a chemical sales representative and back to Duke for a MBA, I spent almost 10 years at P&G in Cincinnati before ‘retiring’ to stay at home with my children. My husband, Ken, and I have four daughters: Mackenzie, a third-year law student at Case Western Reserve University, Addie, Vivien and Dana, all three of whom attended SASEAS, Preschool – grade 8, and are now attending Ursuline Academy. My family and I have been parishioners of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish for 17 years while living in Loveland. When not assisting in the three-year-old preschool classroom, you can find me volunteering in the community and trying to keep-up with our daughters. I also love reading, sports of all sorts, the outdoors, gardening and camping.
This is my third year teaching at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Preschool. I am so thrilled to be here and teaching at a school that I love and believe in. I received my teaching degree from Miami University and taught preschool in daycare type settings. Now that all three of my children attend SASEAS, I am ready to get back to teaching and in a job that I love to do. We have been living in Milford for 7 years and we have fallen in love with this community and this amazing school.
This is my second year as an Assistant Teacher and I am very excited to be a part of your children’s first school experiences. I graduated from Aquinas College where I majored in Computer Information Systems, minored in Developmental Psychology and dabbled in Fine Arts. In my first career I worked as a Web Developer and Designer. Then for the next 14 years I was a stay at home mother. I have three beautiful children who all went/go to SA-SEAS. They have kept me really busy and I have put in countless hours of volunteering at school. I love being creative with your children. I believe that teaching them that learning can be fun is one of the most important parts of my job. We are just at the beginning of their education; them enjoying school and learning to be a part of a class is the best foundation for successful education.
I have lived in Milford, Ohio for 13 years with my husband, Dave. We have two energetic and crazy boys: Sam, almost 13, and Ben, 11. We are members of St. Andrew Parish and active in the SASEAS school community as well. After spending 12 years as a Coordinator of Catholic Youth Ministry, working with Jr. and Sr. High youth, I took time off to spend full time with our boys. Both of our boys attended Seton Preschool, for a combined total of 5 years, and it was a wonderful, educational and fun experience for both of them. I love working with children of all ages, and joining the staff of Seton Preschool has been a blessing. After 2 years as an assistant to Mrs. Krystal, I am now the Lead Teacher in the Tuesday/Thursday, 4 year old classroom.
Hello! My name is Erica Mailloux (Ms. Erica) and I’ll be your child’s lead teacher this year. I live in Milford, Ohio and have been a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and St. Andrew the Apostle churches for most of my life. I recently graduated from Marian University where I majored in Education and History and minored in Pastoral Leadership. I also just spent my summer as a camp counselor for CYO Camp Rancho Framasa, a Catholic youth camp in Nashville, Indiana inspired by St. John Bosco and his teachings. I have a love for children and youth of all ages and am passionate about helping them see themselves as beloved children of God and helping them to learn and grow into the best people they can be. I can’t wait to meet you all soon!
