I am very excited to start my second year of teaching at St. Elizabeth-Ann Seton preschool. I have taught preschool in two different Catholic schools over the past five years, growing as an educator every day from these experiences. Most recently, I taught the pre-kindergarten class at St. Lawrence in East Price Hill. Now that I have a young daughter, when I saw an opening for a preschool teacher at a local Catholic school, my excitement was immeasurable! I believe my passion, dedication, and creativity to the littlest learners will be an asset to St. Elizabeth-Ann Seton’s preschool program.
I’m very excited and honored to be a part of this group of loving, caring individuals who teach your preschoolers! As a three year old class Assistant Teacher, I will do my best to nurture, care for and have fun with your three year olds, such a curious, energetic and lively age.
I grew-up in St. Louis, MO and attended Duke University, graduating with a double major in Chemistry and Economics. Though I love all things science and numbers, I relish any activity involving “arts & crafts” and getting my hands dirty. After three years as a chemical sales representative and back to Duke for a MBA, I spent almost 10 years at P&G in Cincinnati before ‘retiring’ to stay at home with my children. My husband, Ken, and I have four daughters: Mackenzie, a second-year law student at Case Western Reserve University, Addie, Vivien and Dana, all three of whom attended SASEAS, Preschool – grade 8, and are now attending Ursuline Academy. My family and I have been parishioners of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish for 16 years while living in Loveland. When not assisting in the three year old preschool classroom, you can find me volunteering in the community and trying to keep-up with our daughters. I also love reading, sports of all sorts, the outdoors, gardening and camping.
This is my first year as an Assistant Teacher and I am very excited to be a part of your children’s first school experiences. I graduated from Aquinas College where I majored in Computer Information Systems, minored in Developmental Psychology and dabbled in Fine Arts. In my first career I worked as a Web Developer and Designer. Then for the past 14 years I have been a stay at home mother. I have three beautiful children who all went/go to SA-SEAS. They have kept me really busy and I have put in countless hours of volunteering at school. I am very excited to join the staff officially! I love being creative with your children. I believe that teaching them that learning can be fun is one of the most important parts of my job. We are just at the beginning of their education; them enjoying school and learning to be a part of a class is the best foundation for successful education.
